Join Committee

Process

  • We suggest that you attend at least one and perhaps several meetings, 2nd Thursday of every month, 7:30 PM, Town Hall, small conference room (to the left from front door).
  • Get to know the committee members and what we do and see where you might fit in.
  • Once you are comfortable that joining the committee is something you would like to do, send a note to the Town Supervisor including a resume. Sometime after that you will be interviewed by the Town Board and perhaps appointed to the committee.

Requirements

  • Town resident (or operate a business in town)
  • Interested in preserving open space in Yorktown
  • Available for most meetings and occasional site visits to evaluate potential acquisitions.
